1. Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate (UG) Programs (B.Des / B.F.Tech)
Must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognized board.
Maximum age limit: 24 years (as of August 1, 2025).
Relaxation: Up to 29 years for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

Postgraduate (PG) Programs (M.Des / M.F.M / M.F.Tech)
Must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
OR a 3-year diploma from NIFT/NID.
No age limit for PG courses.

2. Exam Structure & Selection Process
The NIFT entrance exam consists of two main stages:
Stage 1: Written Examination (NIFTEE)
General Ability Test (GAT)
Tests quantitative ability, English comprehension, logical reasoning, and general awareness.


Mandatory for all programs.
Creative Ability Test (CAT)
