Application Fees (Non-Refundable):
Open/OBC (Non-Creamy)/EWS: ₹3,000
SC/ST/PwD: ₹1,500
Applying for TWO programs (e.g., B.Des + B.F.Tech):
General: ₹4,500 (₹3,000 + ₹1,500)
SC/ST/PwD: ₹2,250 (₹1,500 + ₹750)

The NIFT Entrance Exam Process

Undergraduate (UG) Programs
B.Des:
Tests: General Ability Test (GAT) + Creative Ability Test (CAT).
Next Stage: Shortlisted candidates take a Situation Test.
B.F.Tech:
Test: General Ability Test (GAT) only.
Shortlisting based solely on GAT scores.
Applying for BOTH (B.Des + B.F.Tech):
Tests: GAT + CAT.
Receive two separate merit ranks (one per program).
Note: B.F.Tech (Maths) students can opt for B.Des by taking CAT.
